Philpotts in the original sandwich shop in Shrewsbury. It is located in Butcher Row, just off the main shopping street of Pride Hill, the shop itself is located in a beautiful historic black and white building. The shop is amazing, almost like stepping back in time. The shop has an excellent range of sandwiches and rolls, they offer combinations of food, as well as design your own sandwich. This is the store that first introduced me to Banana, brown sugar and walnut rolls.....10 yeras later, I still love them. As well as sandwiches, and rolls they also sell drinks, soup, cake and crisps. This should be the top on everyones list.

Philpot's is a sandwich shop located in the town centre along butcher row, set back in an old black and white building it really is a treat. The food is always fresh and the staff are friendly. As well as catering for passing trade they also cater for functions and corporate events which I can vouch for being a real treat. Not the cheapest but you certainly get what you pay for.
